This is an altered board book I did for a class. It is a children's board book that I picked up at the dollar store and sanded down. I then used Mod Podge to adhere the paper (Daisy D's) and sanded the edges. I put a hole in the top left corner of the cover with my Crop-a-dile and tied ribbons with charms/bells. This is a really inexpensive project to make and the finished project is unbelievably cute!

Very cool retro vibe! What a great idea to use a dollar store board book. I guess you had to use superfine sanding blocks?
