Imagine

This layout was done using the new WeR Memory Makers double sided cardstock and Bazzill Bling cardstock as the base. The flowers were made from punches and the centers have Karen Foster jeweled brads and antique brass brads in them.
This is a picture of Taylor when we first gave him his "diamond."

Got Cherries? Yummy

This layout was done using the new Creative Imaginations Cherry themed papers, bazzill cardstock, rickrack ribbon and buttons.
This is picture of Taylor and Nik enjoying their yummy cherries for breakfast!

Handsome

This layout was created using the new My Minds Eye papers, title, and journaling card. The Snap is from WeR Memory Keepers Designer Snaps and Eyelets(Peasant). The ribbons are Fancy Pants Design.
This is Taylor's Spring 2007 school picture.

That Boy

I've really started using larger prints lately and I see myself just keep printing them larger and larger...they look great that way.

If I Had Just 1 Wish

This layout was done with Basic Grey papers and ribbons, and prima flowers.

Finding Your Inner Child

Bo Bunny Papers and ribbon, Ranger Paint Dabber, Autumn Leaves Stamps, Prima Flowers, WeR Snap.

Key To My Heart

I love the pictures Kevin snaps of us when we aren't paying any attention. They are my favorite ones to scrap.

Basic Grey Blush Papers and fibers, Me and My Big Ideas Glitter letters, Sticko tags.

Jewel Thief

:04
Kevin and I went on a weekend vacation to Branson and when we asked Taylor what he wanted us to bring him back, he said, "A REAL diamond." He is obsessed with gemstones and rocks and minerals. I searched everywhere in Branson for this diamond...and ended up getting it off of ebay. Taylor was so mesmerized by it that he just stared at it and smiled for half the day.

Field Day

Taylor's best friend in Kindergarten was Kalleigh. He just loved that girl. This was taken at Field Day.

Abuela Book

This is a book I am working on for Taylor's Abuela. It is a Once Upon a Time theme from Diecuts with a view.

Zoo

Taylor met some of his friends from Kindergarten at the zoo this summer. This was the result.

Ty

My nephew Tyler and I have been great friends since we first met when he was 1. We really enjoy hanging out together and playing games...especially basketball. I wish I got to see him more.

Nik

My nephew Nik is such a remarkable boy. He and Taylor are very best friends. I wish they lived closer so the boys could experience life together all the time.

Opening Night

Taylor is a HUGE superhero fan. Superman Returns actually opened on his birthday, so we took him to see it and Superman and Lex Luthor were there to pose for pictures with him. It made his night.

Cousins

This is Taylor with my great neice Breanna at Sequiota Park.

Brave Boy

We took Taylor to Petra Rock Climbing Gym for the Kids session and he loved it. He took it very seriously.

Sittin on the Dock of the Bay

These pictures were taken off Carl and Karen's deck in Florida. Their property is so amazing!

Dog Gone Cute

Sometimes simple is better. I didn't want to clutter up the page with anything other than Taylor's adorable puppy dog face.

What It Means To Be A Mother

I found this new Daisy D's Paper and fell in love with it. It is their mother line, so I went home and put a page together....all about me! I've just started doing more pages for myself and it has proven to be really really fun. Now if I could only get some pictures of Kevin!

A Mother's Love

Kevin took these pictures of us at Meador Park. I love how playful you are and how you love to kiss me on the cheek when no one is looking:)

This is an altered board book I just finished called "My Fairytale Life". The charms hanging from the front are an antique key, a jeweled princess crown, and an oval silver metallic mirror. I haven't yet finished the inside, so there will be lots more ribbon coming out from the top and possibly some tabs on the side.

Scavenger Hunt

Okay, I had so much fun creating the "I Spy" layout that I had to do the same thing with the "Scavenger Hunt" paper from American Crafts "PLAY" line. It is a tradition that we have an Easter scavenger hunt every easter morning after Taylor gets his basket from the Easter Bunny. Mom and Dad hide an egg of our own amidst the Easter Bunny's with the first clue in it. When Taylor opens all of his eggs, he goes off on a hunt using the first clue. I made the library pocket to hold all of the discarded clues after the hunt has finished.
Most of the fonts used in this are from the Printing Press Cartridge for the Cricut. The arrows are Autumn Leaves stamps and the ribbon is from various manufacturers. There are five tags, 4 photo mats, a library pocket for clues and lost of fun ribbon and cutouts.

"I Spy" Page Layout

This is my latest layout. Most of my inspiration for projects come from the person I am scrapping for or the paper that I use. The paper in this layout is American Crafts "I Spy" and matching double sided papers.
My son LOVES the "I Spy" books and computer games so this was perfect to create a layout for him. I liked working on this so much that I will probably do a few more variations.
I tried to incorporate a lot of various objects onto the page so that you had to actively search for different objects. The result was a very busy page...which is great for this theme.

Surf Kayaking

I love this page. It is a page that I created around the paper with a specific photo in mind! The paper is by Creative Imaginations and the chipboard P is by Bazzill. I knew this picture would look awesome on this page, so I bought it, ran home and asked Kevin to convert it to black and white with a Pink Kayak (it was originally yellow or orange). The picture was taken at the end of a long and wonderful day of surf kayaking in Titusville, FL at Playa Linda Beach on Canaveral National Seashore. We were visiting my brother and sister-in-law and were able to all spend the day at the beach playing! The finished product is this!

Pirate Book

This was a class I did on a paper bag book. The pirate theme was something I thought of based on the clasp. I was planning on entering a competition that required a unique closure, so I thought of the closure and the theme followed. The clasp is made out of two wooden screw plugs and an elongated oval wood chip. I hot glued the plugs to the bottom of the oval chip and painted them with brown craft paint. I then distressed the entire thing to make it look like a wooden cleat from a ship. It is tied like a cleat with small rope ribbon that is attached between the folds in the last page.

Christmas Altered Board Book

This is an altered board book I did for a class. It is a children's board book that I picked up at the dollar store and sanded down. I then used Mod Podge to adhere the paper (Daisy D's) and sanded the edges. I put a hole in the top left corner of the cover with my Crop-a-dile and tied ribbons with charms/bells. This is a really inexpensive project to make and the finished project is unbelievably cute!

A Pirate's Life For Me

My pirate class was such a big hit that I decided to make a pirate kit. It is currently for sale at the scrapbook store as well.

Down on the Farm Kit

This is a kit created for the scrapbook store where I work. The pictures on the left page are sitting on top of hay bales. There is a small metal tractor charm hanging from the "D" on Down.

Bug Kit

This is a kit I put together for the scrapbook store that I work at. These are currently for sale for $15.
My inpiration came from the paper. It is Karen Foster bugs paper. I cut a piece of white vellum in the shape of a jar and chalked the edges with blue chalk. I cut the lid from metallic copper paper and popped it off the page with foam squares. I cut out several small bugs from the patterned paper and glued them on the bug jar, some are popped up. I then drew dotted lines to make it look like they were crawling/flying. There is a metal dragonfly brad flying from the top of the jar. The worm is slid into the brown cardstock at the bottom so that he looks as though he is crawling out of the dirt. There are some small flowers put on with brads around the page mats and letters. The letters are 2" diecuts that I drew borders on with black pen.
